After severe weather conditions in Southern California, International Beach Conservancy Day is RESCHEDULED !

 *Note new meeting time and location*
Sat. Jan 30th, meet at the end of South Seacoast Drive,  Imperial Beach, CA 91932
Time: 3pm-5pm - During the low tide

Please be sure to wear closed toe heavy duty shoes and long pants.  Conditions may be hazardous for younger children as the latest storms have left a large amount of solid waste, trash and potentially harmful objects along the shoreline.  Cleaning supplies (masks and gloves) will be provided.

PRESS RELEASE-International Beach Conservancy Day

International Beach Conservency Day with Tijuana River Citizens Council and the Tijuana Estuary to clean up the Salt Marsh, Sat Jan 30th 9am-Noon:  The Estuary clean up meets at the Visitor Center, 301 Caspian Way, Imperial Beach, CA 91932) Main areas of focus: Oneonta Slough, Grove St. and the river mouth. (Contact Danielle Litke at dlitke@parks.ca.govor 619-575-3613 x 330 for further info).  The Estuary clean up requires all children under 18 to submit signed parental consent forms for US Fish & Wildlife Svcs and Calif. State Parks.  The forms are attached, if possible complete and bring them along.
